Description

This course includes an historical and critical study of painting, sculpture, and architecture from prehistoric times to circa 1400 CE. It aims to familiarize students with key works of art throughout the globe as well as to equip them with tools to effectively describe, analyze, and contextualize artworks from various perspectives. This course includes works important to the Western Canon.

Qualify for enrollment in ENC 1101

Corequisites

None

Conditions

This course fulfills the Gordon Rule writing requirement and must be completed with a grade of C or higher pursuant to State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.030.
