Description
In this course, students will explore dance structure, techniques, and various choreographic elements. The course provides an introduction to dance through the critical analysis of its historical context, production, theory, and connections to dance literature, including works important to the Western Canon. Students will study societies that create dance expressions through analysis and investigation.
