Description

This course, consisting of a study of state and local forms of government in the United States, explores the government of Florida as an example of activities and patterns of state government. In addition, the course examines the responsibilities of local government at county and city levels. This course includes instruction on the historical background and philosophical foundation of Western civilization and this nation¿s historical documents in particular those that pertain to state government (e.g., the Bill of Rights and the original and current constitutions of the state of Florida.
