Description

This course is a comprehensive introduction to 3D printing. Participants will learn about the impact and evolution of 3D printing technology. Participants will learn about a variety of software for the creation and modification of 3d models for printing purposes, as well as the effective use of slicer software to prepare models for FDM printing. Participants will learn the basic setup, operation, and maintenance of common FDM 3D printers. Post processing and finishing techniques will also be covered. Each participant will have the opportunity to print several reasonably sized objects during the course.
