This course provides an in-depth exploration of child growth and development from prenatal stages through age eight, focusing on physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development. Students will study key developmental theories and milestones, emphasizing the impact of family dynamics and cultural contexts. Students will learn how to create supportive environments that nurture children's growth across all developmental domains. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to understand and support the diverse needs of young children.
