Description

This course is a continuation of Human Anatomy and Physiology I for Biomedical Sciences Majors and includes: the cardiovascular system; the lymphatic system and immunity; the respiratory system; the digestive system; the urinary system; fluid/electrolyte and acid/base balance; and the reproductive systems. Within Human Anatomy and Physiology II for Biomedical Sciences Majors, these topics may or may not be covered in the sequence listed. The laboratory component of this course provides students with direct hands-on experiences to reinforce the anatomical and physiological concepts presented in lecture and encourage critical thinking, the understanding of scientific methodology and the application of scientific principles.
