Description

This adult secondary level course is intended for students on an 11th or 12th grade academic level. Instructional time emphasizes understanding both rational and irrational numbers, as well as other types of functions, such as quadratic and exponential. The course is designed to teach students to use mathematical concepts to solve problems encountered in daily living or in work settings. SPECIAL NOTE: The ASB Program is a non-credit program designed to develop the literacy and numeracy skills necessary for students to be successful workers, citizens, and family members. The Academic Skills Building (ASB) programs are offered for Mathematics and Reasoning through Language Arts. Students may enroll in coursework in either or both program options.
